Robotics and communication are the key technologies that are transforming the way we live and work.
This course introduces you to both of them and helps you build a robot that can be controlled over telephone.
You can make the robot move forward, turn right etc. by just pressing number buttons on your phone!
In this course, students will develop a mobile-controlled robot using DTMF or Dual Tone Multiple Frequency. The robot is controlled by a cell phone that makes a call to a second phone connected to the bot. Pressing keys on the user’s phone will send instructions to the robot via DTMF signals. The robot is programmed to decode these signals and change directions accordingly.
