Want to introduce your kid to self driving cars? How do these cars detect and follow lanes?
That might be tough, but the first step in that direction is easy.
How about helping your kid develop a robot that detects edges of tables and avoids falling down? And then encourage your kid to develop further interest in self driving cars?
Yes, that is very much possible and you can do it with this course right from your home!
No prior programming knowledge needed
What your kid will learn in this course
Edge detection robots also known as vision guided robots, are capable of detecting the edge/ corner of a platform and actuate accordingly. Through this school robotics project-based course, your kid will learn to build his/ her very own edge detection robot that uses digital IR sensor to detect the surroundings and move accordingly to avoid falling.
To ease your kid’s programming learning experience, the course is equipped with scratch based block programming modules that make programming the robot super easy. So you need not require any prior programming experience to help your kid to build this edge detection robot.
